The Goldcrest (Regulus regulus) is the smallest bird in Europe. This species is called: Fuglekonge in Danish.

The Coal Tit (Periparus ater) is called: Sortmejse in Denmark.

A larger and more colorfull and common species is the Great Tit (Parus major). This Danish common name for this species is: Musvit.
